It was a long winter, but a fruitful one: the long lockdown evenings often found me behind the digital piano, working on a new and challenging project: nine new compositions; this time not for the well-known quartet, but for a septet with flute, trumpet, sax and trombone. Besides the regular piano, bass and drums of course.
This month we will be rehearsing and recording and we are already expecting a performance. I’ll keep you posted!
Nice for me, of course, to have some artistic work to do in addition to sustainable investment. And nice as well for six fantastic musicians – as you know, a profession that has had a hard time last year. A grant from Sena is very helpful in this regard, very grateful for that.
